    Everything here is amazing & full of flavor. Salads come so loaded with meat you don't need a side dish unless maybe you are sharing. Falafels are a decent size, supper fresh & seasoned to perfection! I'm so happy they have a loyalty program now.

    I just had the most hilariously delicious experience at this Mediterranean restaurant! From the moment I walked in, it felt like I'd stumbled into a flavor circus. I ordered their "crazy hummus," and honestly, it should come with a warning label--one dip and I was ready to join the hummus fan club! Then I tried the falafel, which was so crispy it could've auditioned for a crunchy snack commercial. Seriously, I almost took it home to meet my parents! And don't get me started on the pita--fluffier than my pillows and just as comforting. For the main event, I went for the lamb kebab, which was so tender I nearly proposed. If it had a ring, I'd be wearing it! And the tzatziki? Let's just say it was like a refreshing dip in a yogurt oasis. I finished with dessert--a baklava that was so good, it should have its own Instagram account. I mean, who knew layers of pastry could bring so much joy? If you're looking for a place where every bite feels like a party, this Mediterranean spot is it! Just be prepared to leave with a belly full of joy and a smile on your face!

    My friend and I enjoy watching Anwars videos so we planned a day in LA to try out his restaurant. We were by just how deliciously creative the recipes were. I think the best way to describe the dishes would be the harmony of generationally passed down Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food, with an added twist of LA street style flavors on top. The Anwars Shawarmas are a must try. You get the option of 4 loaded "tacos" with choices from beef, chicken, falafels, shrimp, etc. Everything was so fresh and quality Our second favorite was the beef gyro wrap, which reminded us of a really exceptional burrito. It comes with perfectly crisped pita chips & homemade hummus. Speaking of homemade, don't forget to check out the fresh deli selection. It's one of a kind & I ended up buying 4 baklavas because it's honestly the most fresh & tasty one I've personally tried. The entire restaurant has a clean and casual vibe like a wolverine mural of Anwar, yet elegantly decorated like sophisticated light fixtures with excellent natural lighting too. It has a welcoming charm to it that reflects Anwars social media presence. We were also impressed by the extra care in the service & none of the staff seemed stressed or overwhelmed. Will definitely make excuses to go to dtla soon just to come eat here again
